Make $7 per Hour - Choose Between Food, Rent & NOW add Healthcare!
In Vermont all citizens under 18 get FREE health care. Vermont is trying to implement this for all adults also! under Obama's plan evil giants like Walmart are exempt from having to provide it, but the employees who make minimum wage are not! they have to buy it or face stiff fines! Is this fair? Does this help poor people? This is modeled after the Massachusetts plan that Romney signed. It's all about the insurance companies making even MORE money while the hard working folks starve! Muslims are exempt however from having to buy it....
These protesters want the person living in poverty to choose between food OR fines from the IRS. Under Obama's plan poor people have make that choice or be fined.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court's decision to uphold most of President
Barack Obama's health care law will come home to roost for most taxpayers in about 2½ years, when
they'll have to start providing proof on their tax returns that they
have health insurance. If you ignore this mandate and don’t get health insurance,
you’ll have to pay a tax penalty to the federal government, beginning in 2014. This fine starts
fairly small, but by the time it is fully phased in, in 2016, it is
substantial. An insurance-less person would have to pony up
whichever is greater: $695 for each uninsured family member, up to a
maximum of $2,085; or 2.5 percent of household income.
Individuals who make about $14,000, and four-person families with
incomes of about $29,000, would not have to pay more than 3 to 4 percent
of their incomes for insurance.
$14,000 - 3-4% of their incomes!!! Can you imagine living on $14,000 a year? That is extreme POVERTY and these extremely poor PPL should not have to pay $1 out of pocket for insurance!

This really sounds like a huge ripoff..
Also looking how U.S is doing right now, is this really something a president should be focusing on?

I agree with you Voodoo. I lean libertarian conservative wanting small, lean government. I also care about people. Everyone should have access to healthcare. If we stopped spending on illegal wars, secured our borders, and actually balanced the Federal budget we would have funds for things like free health care for people living under the livable wage. The Repubtards and Demonuts are determined to bankrupt our country and enslave it's subjects into hard labor with no rewards for their efforts!
