Welcome to the RESIST Forum - Our Worldwide News Organization and informational forum focuses on sustainability, eliminating corporate greed and control, solving problems with peaceful dialogue, sharing of ideas, and making responsible personal choices. One cannot blame the government or politicians for all our problems, YOU are the consumer and your buying power is a huge vehicle for change! The government is not twisting your arm and forcing you to bank at Bank of America, buy gas from Shell / BP / Exxon-Mobil, buy unsustainable Communist Chinese products, or purchase GMO foods. Boycotting is patriotic and it is YOUR RIGHT not to buy unsustainable goods that contribute to the demise of the planet, your freedom and our jobs! Why is boycotting so important? Consuming unnecessary goods creates a huge carbon footprint from making the product to shipping the product huge distances, and the environmental destruction caused by discarding the product when it useful life is over. In the 1950's and 60's durable goods were built to last. It was not uncommon for a refrigerator, toaster, blender, etc. to last 20 years or more! With today’s mass produced inferior products from China you are lucky to get a year or two of useful life. Where does the broken cheap plastic item go? Usually in the trash. Read On.....

Consumerism is destroying the planet. If you consume from unsustainable sources you are directly contributing to the demise of the planet.

RESIST Forum is NOT  liberal, conservative, socialist, religious, anti gov't, subversive, radical, revolutionary, gov't conspiracy, or for one world order. We do support independent/progressive politics, small constitutional government, local sustainable business/banks, the rights of the individual (but not at the expense of environment), liveable wage, and working as a society to better our world. Our posts bring attention to serious problems and offer real world solutions! If you listen to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glen Beck, think George Bush did a good job, believe the solution is storing guns and food in a bunker, or take the attitude that it's "every man for himself" this is probably not the forum for you. If you believe in personal and corporate responsibility and working in community with others without the government forcing it on you - read on....

Take Responsibility for YOUR actions - Stop Blaming "Others" for all of our problems. No one is forcing you to continue your addictions to buying "stuff", throwing recyclables in the trash, or living unsustainably. Don't allow big corporations and their slick marketing to control you! You may remember Jeremy Irons who played Simon in Die Hard With A Vengeance. Jeremy now travels around the would exposing the truth about what we are doing to our planet with our excessive consumption.

Allowing a political party to choose YOUR stance on issues is being controlled! There is no reason an independent, free thinking American cannot be an environmentalist and for social progress, yet also benefit from constitutional freedom and small government. Since when has capitalism meant big corporations monopolizing and controlling what we say, what we buy, and what we do? Capitalism should mean many successful small and medium size successful businesses all working together in networks for the good of the community and local economy. "Socialism" comes naturally when communities of hard working people join together for the good of all without government intervention. In the 1950's the farming communities were capitalist minded when doing business, but naturally social when working together in community. Government had little interference in the daily lives of the rural American. In rural areas and small sustainable cities like minded people can still make this simple system work and it is all up to us to make it happen! Steer clear of dangerous Tea Party/militia group mentality and form peaceful agrarian communities based on the buy local and make America strong again model.

It's Now or Never Video - Boycott Chinese Made Goods,
GMO foods, BP, Amoco, Arco, Exxon-Mobil, Bank of America, Citi & all
Corporate Greed

Make the choice: Live simply, buy locally, live in community, vote independently, live sustainably and above all.... Boycott the big corporations that pollute the environment, control politicians, mismanage public funds, and ruin our communities with big box stores. We need a STEADY sustainable economy based on many small businesses ALL doing well rather than a few multi-national corporate monopolies controlling everything. Does Boycotting and minimalism slow down the economy? You bet! Better to have slow, steady and lasting economy than unbridled growth, destructive practices and finally major collapse. A capitalist/social economy based on local the small American business model is a STRONG one. Economic collapse would be a surreal nightmare for all of us! We have to invest in our neighbors rather than greedy mega-corporations that divert our hard earned money to China and greedy CEO's pockets. America is a great country and a great place to live. These greedy businesses that have caused our current nightmare are driven by YOU the consumer! Change that in an instant by shifting your spending to small American banks, credit unions, and businesses that keep jobs/money in YOUR community!

How to consume more responsibly

There is no doubt that we are in big trouble due to economic, environmental, and other factors. Conspiracy theorist apocalypse? Probably not.... Self-fulfilling prophecy caused by our own stupid actions? Most likely! We are creating the perfect storm due to overpopulation, total environmental destruction, food shortages and political unrest leading to wars. Don't buy into this destructive lifestyle. Take positive action now! Complaining about how "they" are ruining everything serves no purpose. Huge disasters both man made and natural are on the rise. Survival is a basic human instinct, and there are many videos that will show you how to survive a disaster, economic collapse, or long emergency. So called "FEMA Camps" are for those who act like animals - let's not let things get to that point!

Young people in Greece are breaking the cycle and not waiting for the government to make the change

If you are not happy with our direction, contribute and make positive changes one small act at a time! There is no doubt really hard times are coming, but if you think you can fight off this group or that from your bunker you are sadly mistaken! The goal should be to find like minded people/communities to avoid trouble and live away from epicentres of population. This forum is not limited to the United States. We all need to promote sustainability and TRUE independence worldwide. We need to teach developing countries that greed, consumerism, excess industrialization, and corporate monopoly is not best for humanity or the health of the planet. Greed and excess cause most of the worldwide unrest - don't be a part of it and help to educate others.

Start by cutting out or reducing the use of plastics.

You probably don't litter, but the plastic bag you used blows out of the garbage truck, washes into the sewer, goes down the river and then into the ocean. Most plastic in the ocean is not dumped intentionally. Reduce/eliminate your use of plastic and RECYCLE what you do use!

Welcome To The RESIST Forum - Our Mission Fur-se10

How can you fight these injustices and evils? This is what you can do - and our many blogs show you how:

1) Boycott, simplify & minimize! Don't buy unsustainable products from big corporations like Walmart etc. Shop at mom and pops, buy nothing with a "Made in China" label, and check out thrift stores or on-line for older American made products. The only 2 items you have no choice with are laptops and smartphones. Consume less - MUCH less!

If a state is oppressive and unsustainable move to one that is not like Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Kentucky, Washington, Oregon or Montana. Start a business & contribute to the local economy. Associate with like minded people. Support only LOCAL business, banks and credit unions.

Write your representative to complain (politely) if you don't like a law, and vote for independent or 3rd party candidates that fight the status quo.

Reduce, Reuse, Re-purpose and Recycle everything you can! Pick up recyclables when you see them laying outside on the ground and bring them to a recycling bin no matter how inconvenient. Encourage your community to start a recycling program if one is not in place. Organize a riverbank litter pick-up to keep plastic from getting into the oceans. Recycing is NOT a license to consume more. it takes energy to recycle and most recycling is sent to Communist China. Better to buy bulk, bring your reusable cups / real utensils when you eat out, and shop with minimal packaging in mind.

5) Cut back on your carbon footprint. Walk, bike, rideshare, & take mass transit whenever possible

6) Stop the division, we are all humans on one planet! When we think of others based on religion, race, color or sexual orientation we are dividing humanity. Corporations use politicians & media to divide us and then start wars so they can plunder resources. Excess consumerism drives the need for Lithium from Afghanistan and oil from the Middle East, and that requires wars to get to it. Don't be a part of it! Minimalize to an extreme.

What happens if we don't make changes? Collapse of Industrialized Society

Recycling is good, don't get me wrong, but reducing consumption is better - why? Because if you don't recycle it goes in the landfill - VERY bad. If you do guess where most of the recyclables go? CHINA! So if you use plastics, metals and other recyclables by all means recycle. It is much better to buy in bulk from co-ops, use re-usable containers, buy from thrift stores, and minimalize consumerism altogether!
This video illustrates where recyclables go. Recycling is not a license to buy more...

We need this store to go nationwide:

Become a total minimalist - the high price of materialism...

Global warming is REAL! Don't be a puppet for Glen Beck, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, and Rush Limbaugh. All of the top scientists are now on board and agree we are in for some serious climate challenges as a world - we are all in this together! If you don't want more government regulation then take the PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY yourself! Cut down on consumption, drive less, and buy a fuel saving car. BOYCOTT unsustainable business, and recycle everything. It's no longer "consumption as usual" - we are in serious trouble. Take the responsibility to enact change or the government will do it for you with more control and regulation.

When will we wake up and cut down on consumption?

Forced Socialism - NOT good. Rampant big corporate greed that ruins the middle class - NOT good either. Be a grassroots CAPITALIST - support your LOCAL SMALL businesses!:

Boycott ALL Chinese goods. When you buy these products YOU are responsible for eliminating our jobs is the USA. Check the label and say NO to Walmart and CHINA!

More on buying local.

An opinion about Economic Depression - The solution is localize our economy, invest in LOCAL banks, renewable energy, buy only USA made products and grow our own food. It's not all doom and gloom if we start working on this now!

Think these big corporations have America or your best interests in mind?  WATCH THIS video about how Americans are manipulated while Saudi Oil Companies and Communist China benefit. Meanwhile you pay more at the pump all while they outsource our jobs overseas! Buy fuel from the following companies that don't use Saudi Oil: Sunoco, Conoco, Sinclair, Hess, ARCO, Maverick, Flying J, Valero, CAMurphy Oil USA

Boycott GMO's:

These US Citizens are NOT bums! How dare we argue over tax breaks for the rich! They are supposed to create jobs, but all they do is outsource them to China! Then the police harass these working poor instead of going after real criminals.
